Donate Your Car To Help A Neighbor. We encourage you to donate your personal car or company cars to Good News Mountaineer Garage because the more vehicles we receive, the more West Virginia families we can help. The life left in your car can truly make a difference in someone's life.
In most parts of West Virginia, a person without a vehicle can't keep a job. Lack of transportation also limits access to safe and affordable housing, medical care, educational opportunities and even groceries. Your car donation can make a huge difference in the lives of these people.
In the past four years we have provided vehicles to meet the transportation needs of 1,239 adults and 1,563 children.
You win, knowing you are truly making a difference for a family in need, and your vehicle donation may qualify as a tax-deductible charitable contribution and/or West Virginia state tax credit.
Our community wins because we are sowing the seeds of economic justice that will bring more people into our economy and make West Virginia a better place to live.
The recipients win because they are able to afford and own a vehicle that's going to dramatically change their lives. Click here if you'd like to learn how to apply for a vehicle.

My name is Linda. I was just navigating your website and came across your email address and wanted to say, thank you. I was fortunate enough to receive a car from you around 2012. I was a single mother who was disabled. I couldn't afford to take care of our basic needs, food, rent, etc. with what the state gave me. I decided to go back to school, I got a degree, and started working the Monday after graduating!! I have since moved to VA and I am a proud Army wife. Without your organization none of this would have been possible. I am thanking you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for meeting a need for so many desperate people who want to do better, but just need a helping hand. I wish you all continued success.
